Our Story

Sparkling House Cleaning Services of Brooklyn, NY opened in 2014, at a moment when Downtown Brooklyn was changing faster than any neighborhood in the borough. Towers were going up along Flatbush Avenue Extension and the Willoughby corridor, and thousands of households were moving into a district that had been mostly offices and courthouses by day. We built the company around what those residents actually needed: cleaning that fits a commute, and someone willing to deal with the buildings so they didn't have to. 7,500+ cleans and a 5.0-star rating from 150+ clients later, that's still the core of it.

Our office is at 89 Willoughby Street, which puts us within a few minutes of everything we serve. That matters more in this part of Brooklyn than people expect, because the homes here vary so enormously over such a short distance. A twentieth-floor apartment with floor-to-ceiling glass, a landmarked Greek Revival house on Willow Street with its original plaster intact, a fourteen-foot-ceilinged loft in a converted DUMBO warehouse, and a wide family brownstone behind a deep Carroll Gardens front garden are four completely different cleaning jobs. Sending the same visit to all four would serve none of them well.

So we don't. Our cleaners carry squeegees and proper glass solution for tower windows, extension equipment for loft ceilings and exposed ductwork, and neutral soaps and soft cloths for pre-Civil War wood and marble. We schedule row houses with enough time to reach the top floor properly rather than treating it as optional. We send the same trusted cleaner back wherever we can, since someone who knows your home works better and faster. Every cleaner is background-checked.
